Tackline a Community Project

How ICE Architect tackles a Community Project

Community Projects: The Process

We offer a complete architectural service based on the RIBA work stages. We will establish at an early stage whether you need all or only part of this service.

The Brief

We help develop a brief that has a considered approach to key criteria of the community group – typically functionality, cost effectiveness, sustainability, ease of construction, and commercial viability.

After the agreement of a brief, we can produce visual aids, 3D models, and photo montages to help you visualise the final product.

Compliance

As well as the usual planning and building regulation approvals, community, school and nursery premises often have additional compliance requirements. We will, therefore, ensure the design satisfies the requirements of the various funding bodies (where involved), and address access and disability issues and health and safety regulations.

ICE Arch Ltd supplements the wealth of knowledge of its strong design team with other professionals, as required, including quantity surveyors, planning consultants, structural engineers and landscape architects. All are crucial to the implementation of a successful project that is delivered on budget and timescale.

Outcome

We aim to create community projects that are visually gratifying as well as practical and of benefit to the community at large.
